Bak Fu Pai Yoga:
The integration of vinyasa flow yoga and Bak Fu Pai qigong meditation. Yoga asana is an ancient system of physical postures which purify, strengthen and balance the body while encouraging a greater flow of life energy (chi/prana), range of motion, mental clarity and structural integrity.
Qigong is a practice of energy cultivation originating from the Taoist healing and martial arts.
Both Yoga and qigong are healing, strengthening, relaxing and invigorating. When practiced together, they provide a powerful means for harmonizing vitality, energy and spirit. Vinyasa yoga is a flow of yoga postures (asana) linked together with deep conscious breath. The combination of breath and movement builds internal heat (students can expect to sweat) which opens and detoxifies the physical body while cooling the central nervous system. This in turn clears and calms the mind. Open body, flowing energy, and clear mind provide an ideal space for the integration of qigong.
Students will experience immediate results, which will undoubtedly develop and grow with consistent effort and dedication. This is dedication not only to the practice of yoga and qigong, but to our greatest potential as human beings.
